Hackersmalta.com will be interviewing a different sort of personality this time around; He is highly involved in the gaming scene, but his entire job and business venture is dedicated to gaming: the Director of MIONIX, manufacturers of high end gaming equipment, Calle Conradsson!

Hi Calle, could you give us a brief introduction on yourself; who you are, and what do you do?
- Well, I'm one of the founders of Mionix so I've been around since we started. We are a very flexible company which means that all employees are involved in practially every process, including me.

Would you call yourself a gamer? Is, or was gaming an important hobby for you at any moment of time in your life? If yes, do you plan on engaging in that hobby in the future?
- I played a lot as a kid, nowdays I don't have much time to play but I keep an eye on whats goin on, I would call myself a former gamer although I never played on professional levels.

In the event that people haven't heard of your budding company, MIONIX, could you give us a brief overview?
- I started Mionix together with one other guy in 2007, it took us almost 1 year before we could launch our first products. Our goal from the very start is to develop quality products with an original design.

What is the inspiration behind the company and how was it founded?
- It is also very important to us that we develop innovative products with unique features that users all over the world can identify themselves with. We love our work and Mionix will always stay true to gaming. Our products is not only the result of hard work, it is also our shared vision and a deep passion for what we do.

You entered into a niche business market which was already dominated by several heavy weights, some of which emanate from neighbouring countries. What was the drive into making such a 'risky' step?
- Well it might seem to be a risky step but this niche is growing very agressively world-wide and we see a lot of potential that we will become a big player on the market.

What are your visions and aspirations for MIONIX in the near future, and the distant future? Any new projects in the pipeline? Any plans to invest in marketing via eSports?
- My vision is to become a complete supplier of gaming accessories, we have many new and interesting projects that we are working with at the moment that will be revealed in near future.

Mionix has quite a presence in the Maltese gaming market, any impressions you can derive off the Maltese gaming community?
- To be very honest I don't know much of the maltese gaming community, I do know that Malta have a really good CoD4 team.
