Ulti-Mat Original Mouse mat Today I will be reviewing the Ulti-Mat Original mouse mat which Hackers kindly gave us to review. I am currently using this wonderful mouse mat with my Razer Krait but i tested it with a Razer DeathAdder and Diamondback aswell but let-s take a look at the list of specifications first, shall we?

| My Experience: The first thing you-ll notice is the smooth black metallic finish with a very shiny surface. It-s so smooth that my mouse is actually gliding on it and feels perfect when playing FPS games. Another thing you-re going to notice when putting it on your desk is its weight for the fact that it-s made from steel and coated with Teflon which is the smoothest material ever used in mouse mats but although its heavy, it-s perfect because it eliminates any movement from the mouse mat. I tested it with Crysis, Crysis Warhead, CoD, CoD2 and finally CoD4 and all I can say is that it-s perfect. The only let down was that with my Razer Krait, I had to lift my mouse 7mm high to stop sensing but this issue wasn-t present with the DeathAdder or the Diamondback. This is in fact a good thing to show how shiny the mat is but after all, most people don-t ever lift their mouse from the mouse mat so I can-t say it-s bad.
